Dr. Mark
- Doctor of Philosophy in Information Systems
Dr. Mark has nearly two-decades of higher education teaching experience, in the fields of computing and information technology, both in Hong Kong and China. He has an MSc in Information Engineering and a PhD in Information Systems from the City University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Dr. Mark works with several technology education institutes where he offers his professional insights regarding current trends in technology education. He utilizes technology within his classes in order to enhance student engagement; examples include:

Charles manages our students’ ICT certification and organises our BTEC courses for students intending to study overseas.
Besides teaching, Charles has a comprehensive background in business and was engaged in a project at Hengqin, the Zhuhai Government, in which he designed and helped to build the Public Cloud Infrastructure.
Mr. Stephen Wong

Stephen has been working in the technology sector for over 20 years. He is a hardware expert who has designed different types of electronic devices, including analogue, digital, wireless, audio and video applications. As the Regional Manager, within engineering, for one of the world’s top EdTech companies, Stephen was involved in designing elements of the iPhone, Intel Wi-Fi and Nintendo games consoles. Stephen is also the founder of a HKSAR company developing learning apps for education.
Dr. Steven Chong

Steven is passionate about making, designing and thinking. His PhD research focused on the relationship between youngster’s design preferences, their character traits and professional training. He obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and his PhD from the Hong Kong City University. He is a design expert and has been producing cinematic special effect for over six years. He has over ten years of teaching experience in the higher education institutes, including teaching interactive design, interactive exhibition design, information technology applications and mathematics for the Vocational Training Council.
As a life-long learner, he pays great effort in continuous professional development. Recently, he has been exploring the potentials of 3D printing, microprocessor, e.g., Arduino, Pi Pico and related coding, such as new Arduino Integrated Development Environment.
Mr. Nick L

Nick is new to HumanMax Corporation but not new to technology innovation and development.He has spent over two years developing an active content platform with a high-end programme and close electronics system. The innovative ideas have been sold to a Japanese electronics manufacturer for future development of its TV system.
After graduating with his Master degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, he spent over eight years in the marketing and digital promotion field. With his technique and expertise in transforming the business model, he has an affinity for technology start-ups.
Nick is a sincere and happy individual who likes interacting with others. While humans are co-evolving with new technologies such as artificial intelligence, Nick values trust and humanity as a priority.

Troy is a Hong Kong-based educator with three years of teaching experiences under his belt. With his ventures in teacher training and Design Thinking Coaching and being a part of the EdTech Club (H.K.), allowing him to stay up to date with the recent developments in Technology Education.
His teaching philosophy is based on the belief that future challenges will demand novel solutions. He believes that our future leaders and experts should be instilled with the necessary soft skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration that will help them navigate the challenges they will face.
Upholding this belief, he strives to upskill students in the domain of 21st-century skills. He uses Minecraft, and other programming tools, to encourage the world’s future game-changers.
Mr. Muhammed Jabir Mauroof

Mauroof found his strong passion for technology education during his Bachelor’s degree at the City University of Hong Kong. He has taught a variety of English courses over these three years. He encourages students to share their thoughts and ideas in the classroom and provide a nurturing, loving environment where student can learn and experience new challenges in technology. Mauroof enjoys teaching and loves seeing smiles on the student’s faces when they know something new. He believed that social learning is significant to teach the upcoming generations as they generally reciprocate well if you talk to them as the people they are, listen to them and treat them with dignity and respect.
In his free time, he is either coding or researching the upcoming cutting-edge technology. He attended the FinTech Hackathon event in 2019 while pursuing his undergraduate degree at the City University of Hong Kong.
Mr. Yeung Kwan Lai

Lai believes coding is a logical activity, and learning to code is training to be intelligent and careful to our decisions. With his first-class honour in a bachelor degree in Statistics and later on the Master degree in Risk management and data analytics, he has become a skilful expert in data science. Lai is good at Python programming and competitive coding with over ten years of computer programming experience. He believes that the sooner our students are equipped with coding skills, the better prepared them for the future.
